Now, photography is not always about your lens. Photography has to do with patience, time, and practice. If you do not make a effort to try, then you are more than likely not going to get better at it. For example, none of my photos are taken with a professional lens. They are simply taken with my phone lens believe it or not. Having a mental image of what you want to take a picture of before you do it, is probably a great way to start. Having the patience to get the right angel is good to. With some photos, you may want to get low. With some photos, you may want to get high or close up. This picture is a prime example of it.
